Waste collection project launched
PESHAWAR: The Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) on Sunday started household level waste collection through bio-degradable bags, which will be initially distributed only in University Town area.

10,000 candidates appear in University of Peshawar aptitude test for BS admission
PESHAWAR: AÂbout 10,000 candidates appeared in the University of Peshawar Aptitude Test to get admission in the BS four-year degree programme held at seven centres in Peshawar under the National Testing Service.
The candidates appeared for admission against approximately 1,500 allocated seats in the 26 different disciplines of varsity where BS programme is being offered.

FAISALABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Faisalabad, announced the results of intermediate examination, annual 2015, on Saturday.
Fatima Osama, of the Gojra Jinnah College for Women, got the first position with 1,041 marks; Rabia Mazhar, of the Chenab College for Women, Jhang, secured the second position with 1,034 marks, and Hafiza Shafaq Yusuf, of the Punjab College for Women, Faisalabad, bagged the third position with 1,024 marks.

BISE Lahore Results of Intermediate Annual Examination 2015
LAHORE
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Saturday announced the results of Intermediate Annual Examination 2015 according to which the overall pass percentage remained 60.61 percent.
The girls outperformed boys in the exam. A total of 74,815 boys had appeared in the exam out of which only 37,219 passed the exam and boys overall pass percentage remained 49.75.

Schoolchildren take part in literacy awareness walk
Rawalpindi: The Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan organised a walk for children on Benazir Bhutto Road in connection with International Literacy Day.
